Title: Scavenger Hunt
Welcome! It has been a while since my last post. But this one will be a fun one. Starting in August we will have 2 of our children in private school and it isn’t going to be cheap. So I thought I would help out with tuition through my website. So here is where the fun part comes in and you get the benefit:) I’m posting a Scavenger Hunt for all my customers. The questions are below. Here are the rules/benefits: You have 1 week (Friday, July 18th) to send in your answers. You may do so by filling out the Store Contact Form or through my email address (if you have placed a past order). I’m not going to list my email address here, due to awful SPAM that I will get. For all answers submitted you will receive a special surprise with your next order (placed by September 30th). I am also going to do a drawing for a $20 Gift Certificate for all those who submit answers.
Here are a couple of other ways to have some fun. For the first five orders I receive over $15, starting Friday, July 11th, you will receive a $5.00 Gift Certificate on your next purchase (minimum $15) & FREE shipping (on next order). Also, every friend (cannot have previously placed an order) you refer to Girly Girl Bows now through August will earn you a $5 Gift Certificate! You must have them put your name in the comments field at checkout.

Title: Welcome Baby Addison!
With great joy and happiness we welcomed our 4th child into our family on Monday, April 21st. Addison Kay weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs., 7 oz. She is just so pretty and just the sweetest baby. Her brothers and sisters think she is just the best! Unlike my other 3 children she was born with a head full of hair! She has way more than the other 3 combined:) I guess that is perfect for a mommy who makes bows!
Here at Girly Girl Bows order processing time will stay the same. After being on bed rest for 7 weeks, I'm so ready to get back to business. I have some great bow ideas that you will love. I also have some new Gymbo matching bows as well as some new 4th of July bows you will see over the next couple of weeks.
Addison will be making her web debut very shortly. Just have to upload some pictures. She is only 4 days old and already sporting her Girly Girl Bows!

Title: Update for Girly Girl Bows
Well, as some of you may have seen I have been on bedrest with my pregnancy. I spent a few days on the hospital while they worked on getting my blood pressures down. I am now home and doing fine. I was going to not take any orders BUT after days of just laying in the bed it is killing me to not be doing anything. SO, I am going to be taking orders as long as it does not get to overwhelming. I guess the great thing about making bows, is I can make them anywhere, even in the bed:)
I will start seeing my specialist tomorrow for weekly appointments and hopefully this little kicker inside of me will stay put for at least another 4 weeks. Right now I'm 31 weeks. It is my 4th child and my body decided it was done being pregnant with the other 3 at 35 weeks, so this time it has started a little early. My first 2 children were born at 38 weeks and my 3rd at 37 weeks. They are hoping to at least get me to 34 weeks. I would like to be done now, BUT know for her health she needs at least 3-5 more weeks.
If anything should change with my health and you have placed an order, I will let you know as soon as possible. I will also try to update the blog too!

Title: Back to School
Well can you believe summer is almost over! I cannot with how hot it has been here. Today while out running errands I saw a digital store sign that read 102 degrees. Unbelievable. You step out of the car and can't wait to get back in and turn on the air. And could we please get some rain. I don't think it has truly rained in 3 weeks. We had monsoons for 2 weeks and now nothing.
I'm not sure about your kids but mine start back to school next week. They are ready for routine and friends to play with every day:) I am sad as my youngest will be starting this year as well. Time sure flys by quickly.
Now on to bows! You will see some big changes coming to the website. I am working on some really fun produts that you are going to LOVE. Coming to Girly Girl Bows over the next few weeks will be New Ribbon T-Shirts, Ruffle Socks, Pillowcase Dresses, Boutique Overalls, Boutique Rompers, Paci Cips, Custom Burp Cloths and so much more. I am hoping to get all these up in time for the Fall holidays. So please check back regulary.
All of the August customers will be getting a note for the August Customer Special. I am going to start a drawing each month for all customers who leave Feedback and/or send in a picture of their princess in her Girly Girl Bows. If you have purchased bows and have not left feedback do so now and be entered into the drawing for August. I will draw one name at the end of each month for a FREE Bow (value $5.00). You will get an entry for both Feedback and Gallery Picture. If you would like to post a picture you must email it to me and I will upload it. For Feedback you must be a registered customer and then you log in.
Also I am thinking of starting a Bow of the Month Club. You will pay a specified amount and then each month you will get a bow centered around a theme for that month. If you think this is something you would be interested in, let me know by filling out a Contact Form and specify in the comment fields. If I get enough interests I will start it right away.

Title: Welcome!
I would like to welcome all of you to the Girly Girl Blog. I will tell you I am new to this form of communication. So bear with me a bit. I would really like to thank all of you that have taken the time to look around and check out my new site. I really have a lot more stuff to add just haven't found the time to create all of it.
I am hoping to use this form of communication to let you know what is going on with the store and when I have added new products or new products that are coming. So I hope you will check back regularly to see what is up:)
